The Opel GT ater sports car first presented as a styling exercise in 1965 at the Paris and the Frankfurt motor shows, and Introduced as a production model of late in 1968 by the German automaker Opel. It relied partly on components from the contemporary Opel Kadett B and had a body made by French contractor Brissonneau & Lotz. Its styling has been likened to the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette the which went on sale in September 1967, the which in turn was styled after the 1964 Pontiac Banshee.
Although the life of the GT models was limited to six years, after a 34-year hiatus it Returned as a 2007 models based on the Saturn Sky, and was built alongside it in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The plant was scheduled to close in July 2009, ending production of the GT, and its siblings.

danOpel, a subsidiary of General Motors (GM) from Europe, plans to start selling electric-powered cars at the latest by 2017. The plan aims to meet emissions targets imposed EU and covers all the new variants will be produced.
The new model Opel will use the internal battery (BEV). Although not yet officially name the new product, the price of the German electric car is expected to range from 38 thousand euros, or about Rp628 million. This price is an estimate of fellow electric cars made by Opel that Opel Ampera.
Reported by Reuters on Tuesday (7/4) Automobilwoche (automotive magazine in Germany) states, in September last year, GM had announced it would cut the price of the Ampera by 8 thousand euros. Opel Ampera can travel between 40-80 km and 500 km further with a variety of additional machines.
Opel does not respond to rumors, but allegedly the new electric car will be a stumbling block Opel electric cars because the price is cheap. Automobilwoche estimates new car Opel will not be more than 10 thousand euro, or about Rp150 million, Rp478 million difference from his elder brother
